Effective group presentation skills are needed today to provide information to a number of people at the same time. A group presentation is more effective than a report in certain circumstances to build relationships and for interaction between people.
A person's voice is one the main way to convey the information in a presentation to a group. Over time most people pick up voice bad habits. Some habits are speaking too fast, a monotonous drone etc. We become good at identifying these vocal bad habits with others. We don't often take the time to listen to our own voice. I think mainly because we don't like listening to how our own voice sounds.
For better group presentation skills an expressive voice because it attracts listeners rather than repels them.
